Default Indent in my snakes eye?

I was looking at my snakes eye and there seemed to be some type of indent, like a little thicker than an end of a needle, it is a 7/8 foot female, is in the eye ball lens, anyclue what it is or what it could be from???

Well, the main thing that it is usuallly from is low humidity, my boa chance had them when i rescued her, she had 2 on each eye, but little ones. Just make sure your humidity is around 55% and they should go away,

I heard that they are from being dehydrated. Make sure your boa is getting enough water.

Yup, dehydration. It could be a retained eyecap, your vet could tell you if that's the case and help remove it. Most likely it's just from dehydration. Be sure you have a water bowl big enough for the snake to soak in, and like others have said 55% humidity. Maybe a tad higher until the dent goes away.

Yup, first try to raise the humidity, daily misting never hurts either.

Do you have any means of measuring the humidity? If not you should purchase a guage designed to measure the humidity. Several measure both temps and humidity and some are digital and work very well.

Add extra water bowls in the enclosure with one such water bowl on or under the heat source and it will help raise the humidity quickly, also try misting the boa a couple of times a day. This is the quickest way to raise the humidity.
