      Default quick fix for dehydration

      i think my boa is dehydrated does anyone know how to fix it. i think he got dehydrated becouse he had watery poo 3 times in a row but now his poo is normal again. Please help i am very worried.

      Make sure the humidity is fine. Your snake might not be dehydrated (sometimes theres liquid poops sometimes its harder poop). If you really think that it is dehydrated you can soak the snake in 80F water. Let it swim for 5 minutes and give it a rest for 5 minutes. As long as your humidity is fine and you got fresh water, its most likely fine. Although soaking your boa once in a while can be helpful.

      big boa= bath tub or similar, water just enough to reach the top of the back. 10-15 min then give it a break about 20 min, then repeat


      small boa= same concept in a smaller, appropriate sized tub with lid.

      For both, I recemmend a small rock, log, rolled towel, so the snake can keep head above water (no drowning)

      for how many days do i do this. or should i do it 3 times a week.

      I have two boas, one large and one small, I normally try to do this once a week or so. On weeks that either one poos, I normally soak them again after I discover it to keep them clean. Thats just what i do, others may do it differently.
