thanks everyone she is so dark saying she was only 1 in middle of April,i reckon she will proper dark as an adult, just hope she keeps that tail colouration
after that last feeding picture, the next morning there was blood all over her water bowl(panic station),so i had to get her out to see if she had done anything to her, without any hissing, lol .but was luckily just from over squeezing her food, lol
      her food response is unbelievable

I don't envy you, needing to be sure she wasn't the source of the blood while her feeding response might still be evident...but that's just what "good snake parents" must do.
For my part, I never tire of watching my snakes...especially their feeding response, lol....they get A+++ for "enthusiasm".

Sounds as if she's just feeling insecure...and handling for only 5 minutes, no wonder. No time to relax. Snakes feel most vulnerable when moving around (changing locations), it's instinctive fear for survival.

      Default New hypo Img Boa

I'll try handling her for a bit
      Longer then I didn't want
To stress her out at the same time as sometimes she
Just strikes at the glass when
      You walk past her viv

Striking the glass from within their cage should never be taken "personally": snakes do not identify you visually, they're just going after the motion hoping that might be prey going by- purely instinctive.

They need scent &/or touch cues to know it's "you"- until they have that, it's "so not about you" lol... When I see one of my snakes looking as if they might hit the glass, I make a point of blowing air across
my hand through their screen so they get my scent...they quickly realize I'm not dinner & back right off, typically with a disappointed look, ha!
