      Default Nice job

Ive been posting pics of my collection on here for over a year now and really enjoy the hint and tips from fellow members but also wondered what some of you do for a living
I live with my wife and my 3 kids have all left home (yay) and my oldest daughter has given me two amazing grand daughters Harriet and Nancy her oldest Hattie happened to be born Christmas Eve and poor Nancy a fortnight later,my thatís an expensive month any way
I have been doing horticulture for the past 29 yrs doing landscaping thru college then finally going down the garden centre route buying plants etc for my numerous centres, I used to go on countless buying trips to Holland and specimen plants from Italy, man that was fun, the past nearly 5yrs Iíve been at local centre 4 miles from home. Buying the houseplants for my centre and Also all the Xmas displays as Iíve always done all the displays for the past 25yrs at all the centres I have always worked at , in the past 2 months Iíve been given the role of visual merchandiser now as the M.D. of my company feels itís the best position for me, we have 21 big centres and I will be going to help out when they have refits,

Any way Iím quite proud of some of my displays and I thought I would share a few pics of some of the displays I have been doing in the past few weeks of putting Christmas outthats part of our winter garden themethese are part of winter wonderland this is my gold fireplace these are part of my red theme

I will post some more pics as I complete some more areas
      Hope you enjoy them

Beautiful displays to get us in the holiday mood! You have every reason to be proud of your "work" (which also looks more like fun, ha ha!*). I don't usually do
holiday decor any more, though I still imagine a tree with "garlands" of snakes... *I have a friend who is a skilled florist, the holidays always exhaust her, so
not to worry, I do realize it IS real work. As for "what's MY line?", sorry but that shall remain a mystery.

Working around plants is second only to working with animals, IMO. I'd take yard work ANY day over housework & I'm pretty good at growing tomatoes especially. (YUM)

Wow! I mean, now you're just fishing for compliments- (I'm kidding! ) but definitely well-deserved. You have a lot of talent for "attractive organization" on a
large scale, which should always keep you employed & having even more creative fun.

Too bad you're in England (for me) - I'd love to come visit and see that.
