Wasn't sure where to put this, but didn't see a better place.
The bar association has issued an opinion that there should be federal, state, and local bans on many exotic animals, including boas and the others listed on the lacey act. This opinion goes beyond the lacey act and calls for the outright banning of breeding and keeping these animals and although it provides for a grandfather clause, any current keepers would be subject to inspections ,etc.
