Does anyone know how to make my own incubator?

When I had been given my Dumeril boa, the breeder had talked about the eggs being in a cooler, and I'm assuming he'd rigged it to be more of an incubator. I'm wondering if anyone has an inkling on how to do this?

Dumeril's Boas are ovivoparous (live bearing)

They don't lay eggs.

xD I know they don't, but the incubator isn't for my Dumerils. Forget I said 'Dumeril breeder', lets say I said snake breeder. I just want to know how to make one.

Whether for my geckos or pythons et cetera.

i use an old frig i took from a curb lol its about three ft tall and 25inches wide. just took a screw driver and removed all of the heavy stuff and left the frig bare. then drilled a hole on the bottom and used a cheap light and i hooked it up to a t-stat. its worked for three years ill post pics tomorrow.

That would be excellent.

A fridge hm? Could I use like a cooler? Or a Styrofoam tub? Can't wait for pics. ^_^

ROFL!! I kinda figured you did. I just couldn't help it the way you wrote it.

It was late and it sounded like a good joke at the time.

About the incubator....I wouldn't have the foggiest idea how to make one. I have seen styrofoam used as one though...

Hova-bator Incubators - Reptile Incubators for Less

I will probably go this route when I'm ready. I plan on breeding some Ball Pythons (they lay eggs, LOL) down the road and for $55, I doubt I could make one for that.

Here is the incubator my roommate and I built a few years back. Still using it to this day and works like a charm.
