I noticed athena going into shed about a week ago and today i found a whole bunch of pieces of shed in her cage. I got her out and her shed that is coming off still has little water drop in some places. The humididty is at 71% after i added the extra holes. Could this be why she shed in pieces, because of extra saturated shed?

at what percentage was the humidity before....I see this alot when they dont have anything to rub against that will initially snage the first portion of the shed and allow them to roll out of it

Did she recently have mites..?

No she didnt have mites, i just got her from mccarthy boas and have had her in a tub seperate room from all boas for a quarantine, but have not seen anything. I really didnt have anything in there to rub against but just put a rock in there that i already ahv sanitized a while ago and kept it. The humidity was up in the top 70's to low 80's due to the water bowl being on the heat pad, and the water evaporating to fast. Im not worried i mean ive had a bad sheding snake for a long time, just wondering if this could be a factor.

that humidity level seems fine....it could be just a bad shed.....once you get her on your own stable routine her next shed should be fine....just check her when she's done for any stuck sheds...

Most of my bad sheds also come from nothing good to rub against. I don't think too high humidity is the issue -- I spike mine pretty high during the shedp rocess.
