I am on-call for my properties every two weeks. Well one of my properties is for Senior's age's 55+. Got a page the other night and the lady said, "Hey I'm on the third floor and there is a BIG brown snake in the common room window." "I'm on my way". So I get my little cousin, well I say little, he's 17 and as big as me now but, we rode out there. The whole time I'm thinking "Well, its on the third floor, how the hell did it get on the third floor? If its not a pet, what natural snakes are gonna be big and brown?" Well, copper heads are pretty common around here so I took a nice stick with me. So we get there and start looking around, no snake, start lifting chairs and couches in the common room... no snake. About that time the lady comes out and says, "it's in that window" and points up to a window thats about 10 - 12ft off the ground and low and behold I see what looks like about 3" of the side of a snake. Now I'm thinking, "How the heck did a snake get 12ft up straight smooth drywall to this window?" I tell her to stand back and lifted my cousin up and he used the stick to see if it would move. Nope. I said, "well if its a snake its dead and dry knock it down". So he knocks down a dry stale piece of wheat bread. Yep... Wheat bread.
