That sounds exactly like mine, Just sorta blotches but NO change in texture or anything, Scales all look healthy, just pinky red.

He's not in shed cycle yet, but he is probably due for one, been a good 3 months or so apperantly.

Thank you all kindly, but if i can get a better picture than the one posted, i will do so anyway

If it is scale rot.Which I don't think it is. Looks like a heat issue or substrate issue. But Athelete's foot medicine will knock out scale rot. Any brand will work. I go with the cheap stuff. I used to use pine shaving with mine. But I'm starting to change my mind on that one now. At the moment. I am using newspaper. I think I'm gonna switch to aspen. Even with my rats. I've had no Ill effects from using it. But I read something the other days that says. The liver enzymes are affected by pine and cedar. So I'm gradually changing my way of doing things.

[quote=crimsonnova;310577]Yeah i do have a T-stat. keeps everything nice and warm, but not too hot, and the humidity is low. quote]

I believe the humidity needs to be in the 50% to 60% area.
