but the only problem is my boa never soaks, even if hes shedding, and i highly doubt he will soak if he has mites
|

just examine him from head to tail if you see little crawling critters then you have mites.

no it doesnt have spots, i just want to no so if i do have spots, ill no if they r mites or pigmentation

Well, if they move they're probably not pigmentation.
And if your snake doesn't have spots, then why are you asking if spots he doesn't have are mites or pigmentation?

omg he does have blak spots but they dont move, i just wanted to no if mites move or not.

Yes mites move, they are alive. Your snake probably wouldn't get snake mites (Ophionyssus natricis) from a plant, but there might be other offending buggers living on that plant that could be harmful. I take my snakes outside in nice weather so mine certainly aren't contained to a "perfect," sterile environment, but I think adding in any kind of living plant is just asking for problems, mainly mold and bacteria.
