another heat tape question

i want to heat my enclousre with heat tape, i know that i can put it under 1/2 of the cage.but if my cage is 24" wide should i use 1 11" wide piece or can i put 2 11" wide pieces side by side.

I think you would just center it. Not positive though.

Well it comes in a roll.
So if U buy two feet it will be in one piece if U want two pieces of it u would have to cut them appart...
I would just put in the two and leave them together...
that way U only need one plug...
