which show would be more worth going to for a person on a budget and only looking to purchase 1 boa? they are both fairly close together in dates (august) and i have to choose one over the other. the atlanta show is only 60-90 minute drive from me, where as the daytona show is probably around 8 hours.
i've been to the atlanta show twice and im pretty sure the two main breeders i would be going to first thing will be there. cant confirm that cause they havent updated the vendor list for the show yet. the show isnt all that big, and there is rarely anything there that i want that i can afford, apart from the two breeders i like dealing with there. pc reptiles being one of them
if i choose to go to the daytona show, it would be my first time. i know its the biggest show in the southeast, and id hate to miss out on it. but there is always next year if i choose not to go. but what im curious about is... with it being such a big and popular show with lots of top breeders, will there be much available for the consumer on a tight budget? say... some sort of colorful salmon or salmon cross male? i know pc reptiles will be there, but im not sure if he does much with salmon.
which would you choose?

Re: Atlanta or Daytona?
Me pesonaly I would go to Daytona. Your gonna get more varity. As far as pricing you can always negotiate. Another show to think about is any of the NARBC shows just some food for thought.

Re: Atlanta or Daytona?
I have to say that The Daytona show is in a Class of it's own. You will get a larger variety but you also have to take in account your cost for a trip like that. Would it be in your budget to take a rather long trip? There are alot of good buys at the Daytona show but you also get good buys in Atlanta.
The Atlanta vendor list is updated as of the first of this week. PC Reptiles will not be vending atleast they haven't signed up as of today. But we do have some new vendors coming like BA Reptiles that do boas and such.

Re: Atlanta or Daytona?
Where could I get some info on the Atlanta show? I'm only a couple of hours away and might have to head down.

Re: Atlanta or Daytona?
Good luck in your choice, I know my input won't be much help, but I've alway liked the Daytona show and it is a good idea to go Sat & Sat so you can see it all. Never been to Atlanta, so I have no idea on that one. I won't be going to Daytona this year, just too much going on but will be at Tinley!!

Re: Atlanta or Daytona?
My brother and I are headed to Atlanta. I've previously only been to the Repticon in Columbia and I'm hoping Atlanta has a wider selection of boas - some higher quality stuff too. There were a couple nice boas in my area of interest at Columbia, but not a whole lot.
