Let's put a face with the name

We had a thread like this awhile back, but have had so many newbies I thought it might be fun to start a new one. I know sometimes it's nice to have a face with the name when you talk to someone. For those that want to part-take, post a tasteful picture of yourself and maybe name another favorite hobby or something like that.

I'll go first.....

This is me looking a bit dorky next to my car in Ocean City, MD. They have a big 5-day car show/event called Cruisin' that I go to every spring.


Aside from the car stuff, I work with several licensed rehabilitators when they are low on space and it works out OK since we can say they are under "veterinary care" since I'm a vet tech. The little 'coonies are probably my favorites. Sorry this picture is bad, I only had my cell phone that day.

This is last year at a strongman competition. I'm the one with the hat. I'm also way bigger now... after another year of hard training. (gonna compete in that same event in a lil over 2 weeks. I will have pics of that event too)

George, i have got to say that is one of the nicest K5's i have ever seen. that is my favorite vehicle too. old school land cruiser is a close second though. post some more pictures please.

I've been driving it for 6 years now (got it when I was 16). I just built a nasty little small block for it (Eagle internals, Weiand intake/water pump, Comp Cam, Holley carb, full MSD, Hooker exhaust, and a NOS plate system). I bought the NOS for the funny factor. You have no idea the look you get in that truck purging nitrous at a stoplight, lol. After I built the motor my mpg dropped to 8 (the white one gets 5) and since they both get horrible mileage (on premium gas unfortunately) I bought a Camry and the truck is currently undergoing a complete restoration and I'm going to add a Weiand 6-71 supercharger (LOL).

We also started a project on a 72 C10 drag truck with a big block. I'll post pics of that when it gets further along. Unfortunately the K5 is taking up all of my time (not to mention money). I'm seriously eating noodles every night to have more money to put in it. Not sure if that's dedication, insanity, or obsession. ha


I'll get some more pics off my other comp in the morning.
