Going to Atlanta

I will be in the Atlanta area this weekend (if IKE goes West) and would love to meet fellow forum members if anyone near there is interested. My husband is playing in the US Amateur Pool Championship Tournament at Mr Cue's II in Doraville. Send me a pm if you're interested or come watch some of the best amateur pool players in the US!!

nah, im tryin to make up for lost time. 3 months of half pay, and then last week somebody didnt give me my vacation pay so i only received 10hrs of pay. normally would work 36hrs fri-sun. but monday is my o/t, plus 1-2 hours of training, and bam! 50+ hours.

im gonna enjoy looking at this paycheck for its 10 minute life span. then its goin straight to the bills! i hate paying tag taxes

It's 8 ball AND 9 ball. Something like race to 15 or some ungodly number like that. First they play race to 15 in 8 ball.
Then when that match is over, they play race to 15 in 9 ball.
Does that make sense? Technically, they could play 30 games on the first time up.
It's kind of hard to explain. Last year was the first time he played in this tournament and he was a nervous wreck. Still, he came in 46 out of 123 so nothing to cry about too much. He better bring home some money this time though.
Sorry I won't get to meet you this trip but there's always next year!

Hey wait a min....your leaving to Atl...and YOU were inviting me to go to Mississippi to go weather out the hurricane???...lol Good luck to you and your husband! i LOVE pool as well...my wife and i were at our local pool hall every thursday, friday, saturday and sunday playing pool...we would walk in and it was like the show Cheers...they would yell out our name..lol =P

I'm keeping a close eye on Ike but it's only a 6 hour drive from here to Atlanta so we can turn around and come back if need be.

I left the key under the mat for you so make yourself at home. Don't pet the pit bull-she bites all men.

Oh and don't drink the milk in the fridge.

Yes, when I met him, it was that kinda night-I think there was a goodish amount of Tequila involved too...

Allie (Alligator) has free run of the yard-burglar prevention. You can get in if you have a woman with you and you ride in on her shoulders. However, the Standard poodle can reach you if your woman is short so make her wear 6" heels or bring an Amazon.

Milk is about three months old...take your chances.
