Shedding issue

i have a ball that's about 4 years old and is having a longer than usual shed its been 11 days from milky eyes. Ive tried soaking in warm water and i always increase humidity in the enclosure. im more worried about a health problem?

It's been a long time since I've had a Ball Python around. I do recall that from time to time they'd have a longer than normal shed period.

I even had one that would "eat" his sheds. The only reason I know this is.... Because I caught him in the act once. Of course, I took the shed away and gave him a rat. He still would have eaten it if I hadn't caught him.

So, are you sure your Ball Python hasn't shed yet?? Watch him closely. He may still need to shed or he may have shed and eaten it.

Either way, keep up what you're doing until you're sure.

I can tell he hasn't shed cuz he doesn't have that bright coloring and he still has that dull coloring that they get
