If you think they're doing the "deed" and he's leaving a "deposit".... I think you're going to have to guess again.
They might be doing the "deed" but he doesn't look like he's leaving a deposit. At least, not yet.
When the male leaves a deposit, his tail will be "up in the air". He might wave it a bit. You'll see a pulsating motion in his tail.(the part that's past the vent) Yeah, when you male is leaving a deposit.....
You'll know.
At least, you'll know if you catch him in the "act".
