Haven't ever done this before, but am considering loaning out my male Guyana BCC for breeding, as I am not able to get a mate anytime soon.
He's gorgeous with high pink/purple, 2 years old, and about 5 feet long. (I'll get weight, length, and current pictures if anyone is interested. I'm due to take some good new pics now anyway).
I would only want to do it with a trusted member here, or referral from someone here.
I've never done this before, so any advice or general info about the process for a first-timer is appreciated. For example, I'm assuming I'd ship my guy to live with the female for a while. Then he gets shipped back. Who typically pays shipping each way? How long would he typically live with the female? I assume that the financial arrangement or splitting of the litter is situation-dependent.
But maybe there's not really any demand for breeding a non-morph Guyana. Dunno...
