    Re: need some help

    Hi there,

I would recommend that you go to www.theboaphhile.com and purchase his breeding video its like 50 bucks but like the bophile says if helps you have just one more boa than it will be worth the money.

      Re: need some help

Just an FYI.. I am going to assume that you meant a pair of ETB's.. Correct ??
IF So, Then you really need to NOT be handling them on a daily basis from what I understand of them ??? This specific ss of boa will get stressed out BIG TIME if you continue to do this. That will lead to health issues and even regurges from what I have been told by others who keep and breed them. Also.. Make sure that you feed them as an arborial snake should be fed too. That will also help with them in their staying healthy also. This ss of snake/boa tends to stress out really easily and you should keep that in mind if you have them in your collection also.
As far as the video mentioned.. I have heard that it is a good one for people looking to start breeding boas also. I don't own it, so couldn't say for myself though what I think of it. Jeff Ronne of the www.boaphile.com is one of the best boa breeders there is out there. So I would tend to think that his video is worth it also.
For starters you need to decide if your one of those into breeding just for the money or exactly what it is your in it for. BTW.. Get yourself a rack built ASAP for the babies also !
Are these your first snakes or boas even or what ?

        hello thnx for info
yes pair of etb..i have had no probs yet but only had 4 weeks.i will back down from handeling.i will check up on the video sounds good.and the cash is not it at all.i have owned snakes nearly my whole life (30 or so years) but never even tried to breed them.just thought it might be something different to try.had no intentions of breeding till this happened.i have approx 40 boas and pythons and lotsa other critters.i just like the reps and amphibians.also i noticed today, the massive bulge started to slim down a bit and spread out.does this say anything ?
        once again
        thnx all
