  • Sexing Probes. . .

    :

    I am curious, which are the best kind, ball-end or a straight set? I am searching out internet sites (& eBay for that matter! HA! :O !!! ) for snake care/equipment that I **could** add to my things. . (which is limited) . . So I am searching out things that could be of use to me. .

    Anyways, SOMEDAY, I plan to be able to do this. . So I wanna know which is better, more accurate, etc etc etc :}
    Thanks,
    Hugs,
    Tara

    Re: Sexing Probes. . .

    I prefer the ball end. Definately safer and easier on the snakes.

    Trust me on this, have someone show you the first time. Hopefully you can find someone in your area that has done it before.

    The problem is pressure. Too much pressure can damage the snake. Too much pressure in a hemipene can rupture or actually poke a hole in it.
    To gain knowledge is good, but to share knowledge is wise

        Even though this sounds stupid, I am against probing, I feel to bad for the snake.
