  • Runners Up

Thinking ahead to next season's main pairing. I'm contemplating repeating this season's pairing with different animals (and animals with more traceable lineage), so that I can hit genetic pearlescent jungles.

I have a female PDMT pearlescent nova that will be ready to go. I'm potentially concerned that the nova will make the litter results a little confusing.

And then a George line jungle produced by Chaz, that should be ready.

I'm always the advocate to avoid breeding Jungles to other aberrant non-Jungles . I've seen several "Jungle" Boas sold from such litters, and turn out to be mis-identified, non-Jungles.

My guess would be that the Nova lineage would most definitely make the Jungles identification much more difficult.

I agree with David ( @Morgans Boas ). I would avoid the Jungle to aberrant non-Jungle breeding project, especially with the Nova lineage being known to throw such strong aberrant variants.

I tend to agree with these two guys. Have you seen what Donnie and Michelle got this year?

The Nova gene seems to have done a number here. Identifying those babies if you did pair those together would be a massive undertaking I would think. At any rate, they are both incredible looking animals!

Thank you guys, that was what I was most worried about. In light of that, I've got two other males that could go this year.
First off is my male super stripe (would be a first step to see if I could pull off reverse stripe super stripes, and to see if I could start cleaning up the line):

And then my EK pastel/Red Rum, who is not as red as I'd hoped he'd be, but still a nice animal:

I think I'll probably go with the RR.

Giving this guy the job might be an excellent idea
