Pastel X Normal het Ivory Anery? opinions please, expertise(Jeff and Clay)please

curious if this will work or is a good idea. all opinions welcome. My female is normal het ivory anery. Her dad was ivory anery and mom normal. she is nice and light side diamonds are very faded or light and top saddles are very light from front getting darker towards the tail. Now Im receiving the male pastel from Jeff Ronne. Ivory anery, from what I think I know Is pastel and anery? If this is true should I pair the two together in the future as in Pastel boa X Normal het Ivory Anery boa. What do ya think?

Since the female is het for a recessive trait, pairing her with a pastel male will will give you pastel babies with a 50% chance of being het anery. Those aren't very good odds. You would probably be better off putting the female with a male (homozygous) anery, which would produce anerys and 100% hets. And the pastel would go nicely with any codom or homozygous female (which would produce 100% hets).

In my opinion this is an absolutely perfect pairing Het for Ivory Anery fem
paired with an Ivory Anery male

I agree with Larry. Although the way the original post was worded I didn't catch at first that the male was Ivory Anery. I thought he was just a Pastel like Natieb did.

I'd like to see some pictures of the Ivory Anery when you get him - good luck!

If the male and fem are really outstanding Pastel type Normals very clean , some color
it will still result in some wonderful babies

this is true I guess if they both look good then thats what you get. ok just curious if I was gonna make the babies or not I ll now have two pairs. the other pair will be hypo female and albino male And I know the result or those. definatly gonna pair them just not sure on the pastel and normal het ivory anery. if there is a bigger chance on having the more pastel look then yes. I guess its a gamble.
