  • What happened to the pearlescent boas

I know Jeff has some and Mortimer at prima reptilia had some. How come you don't see this morph for sale anywhere? I haven't heard Jeff doing anything with them either. So what happened with them? Why aren't they more sought after?

What exactly is the pearlescent morph? Or is it more of a trait? I remember seeing them around a few years ago but not much recently. They look very pretty.

So that link didn't explain anything about why you don't see the morph on the market?Just where it originated unless I missed something as I often wonder the same thing. They're gorgeous boas.

You don't see many because there aren't many around. Jeff likes to hold on to things.

Hopefully we'll see more in the future, I believe Jeff is doing pearlescent x pearlescent this year and I'm excited to see the outcome.

I have a male hypo pearlescent produced by Jeff that I picked up from Anthony Viscuso, and a female nova pearlescent from Prima Reptilia's litter.

Female, photo by Kyle Finn/Ghostfish Herps (she's quite a bit bigger now, but I don't have any good photos of her):

Male, with the jungle he bred this season.
