Re: bcc or bci???
when you say saddles on the back, are you counting every saddle? To count dorsal saddles start at the vent, and work up to the head. Anything below the vent is a tail saddle, if there is a saddle deirectly over the vent consider it to be a tail saddle also. Once you count the dorsal saddles, if there is 22-30 then it's Bci, if there's under 20 then Bcc. This only works on normal boas, it wouldn't hold true for reduced pattern morphs or intergrades.Comment

Re: bcc or bci???
I have personaly always counted the saddle over the vent, but this I doubt will make a difference, all my BCI's are well over the 20 mark, If you want to be sure it's a BCI, you will also have to count the ventrals and the scales at the fatest part around the boa, all these must match including the saddles, otherwise it may be a cross/intergrade. if it only has 25 saddles it could well be a BCC, I say this as just looking at my BCI's thay average 6 saddles after the vent on the tail, this would give you 19/20ish.
