  • Help Needed

Hi all so as some of you know I have recently had a litter from a hypo jungle to hypo jungle and I would love some help from those who have produced super jungles. I will post some photos of the ones I think are super J's and then some photos of some of the other hypo jungles in the litter.

This one we have called Spotty 1

It's actually probably a good thing that you live in Canada. If you lived in the states I would be giving you all my money right now.

I can't help you on ID's, but I'm pretty speechless after seeing those amazing specimens. It's a good thing they're not mine. I'd have to keep them all and then I'd be in real trouble with the Mrs.

If I were to guess on these, I'd say that the first and 2nd are Super Jungle Super Hypos, The third one Super Hypo Jungle . I give up on the rest . This was a crazy litter. I wish that I could get the 3rd one from you - but the cost of shipping from Canada isn't happening unfortunately

I have no idea, but they're gorgeous! I agree with the others... It's a good thing you're in Canada lol. Some of the patterns on the hypo jungles I've never seen before.. like the "vine like" interconnected saddles on the third from last pic.

Do you have an idea of how many babies you'll personally be holding back yet? I agree with the other posters, if they were my litter, I'd have a hard time letting any of them go.

This is my totally uneducated guess. I'm still looking at some of my hypo jungles and I swear, I go back and forth on them. I'm really interested on other opinions on these guys as it's a learning experience for us all.

It's so crazy how the hypo and jungle genes work together AND against each other.

                  Re: Help Needed

                  Lovely babies! Congratulations!

I go along with zamora and Morgans Boas on the first three snakes. And here are my opinions on the third and fourth.
                  ?? = hypo possible jungle
                  NR15-HYJN-103-M = hypo jungle
I do not think these two are super hypo because (IMO) super hypos tend towards saddles shaped like bars while hypos are more likely to have saddles like bowties.

As I have never bred any boa constrictor and seen only pictures of jungles and super hypos, this opinion is worth what you paid me for it.
