  • Columbian x Nicaraguan?

I'm a new member and just purchased my first baby boa. I was told it is a columbian x nicaraguan. I was just wondering if anybody knew what size he would most likely max out at. I'm not sure if this is what he really is but, he is a very dark color so I'm pretty sure he is not a normal columbian.

There's a ton of factors that will determine this so there's really no way of telling what size he would be. With both South American and Central American influence, it depends on which parent he will take after. Even then, not all centrals are a certain size and same goes for Colombians. Only time will tell. Pics are always welcome.

The final size of your boa really is a toss up since it is a mix, but I would guess that it would stay on the smaller size after seeing the obvious Nic influence in the pics. That is simply a guess, though.

Also, the following link might help in case you want another method of posting pics in the forum:

Nice looking boa. Try to resist the temptation to over feed it.
