Anery or no?

maybe i should have posted in pictures but anyway

first off, I'm pretty new to morphs and I'm still very much learning but I'm talking to a guy about buying his baby anery girl but she has a fairly red tail. my question is, does it have to have a COMPLETE lack of red to be anery? or is there a certain amount that is tolerable?

These are the two pictures I've gotten from him. The first one didn't concern me until i got the second. there is just a lot of red on her so I'm worried. ill probably buy her regardless because he wants basically nothing for her so why not? lol i was just wondering.

and to be fair the second picture is a terrible one and it could look a lot more red than it is

Unfortunately that boa is not an Anery.

As seen in that second pic that displays the redness in the tail, with an Anery boa that reddish tail would be a variation of a gray scale.

Central American tend to be grey with darker and thicker saddles and more speckling. I don't know much about morphs.

Yes, and not really all that grey, the photos are a bit misleading. That being said, photos are so difficult to show a boa's true colors, that is why the best breeders are also a. the best photographers or b. they hire the best photographers. LOL
