    Hi anthrax___420,

Thats a hard call. It depends on how much you like him. The boa is pretty, nice contrasty tail and light grey head and back. He is pretty, but to buy him is your call..

      Hi,
If it was around $125 I think i would. It is a very nice looking snake. But like Steve said "It depends on how much you like him"

        Re:should i buy this boa????

        HI,
Is it me or is this a BCC????? ???
If it is ,, thats a great price, I paid 225.00 for my first Guyana at 6 wks four years ago , is he weezing or feeding on fresh thawed, where's he at now a petstore ??
Suri and Guyana are a bit more trouble that first year and can have regurge rather easily, mine never did but I leave them alone post feeding for a few days.
there's a lot of questions and concerns,, if he's a bcc he will not grow a s fast as a BCI but that second year they tend to catch up... Can you build a cage thats 4/6 ft or are you planning to spend some money in a couple years. Beings I am carpenter challanged I spent several hundred on a rather nice bcc Cage. :P The BCC females can easilt hit 12 ft and be rather heavy and strong..
        Doug

here's some pic of my favorite BCC this is my female Holley

        here's she's one year old

and here's her at 24 mos

        and she's growing still ,,

just be sure your up to the 30 year commitment..

        PS
MC Carthyboas posted some pics of adult boa's many seem large for bci and some are large for bcc. Just remember boa's can get large.. Many posters say thats the exception,, I think the exception is keeping a boa for more than 2 years.

yea he is asking i think around 300 for him so i don't know if i want to shell out that much money right at this time i am sure i will find another rtb that i will be able to afford but not at this time!!! thanks for the input. and he is at www.allboas.com name is cesar in fact if any of u are interested his tail is what caught my eye right away!!! but after thinkin about it i don't have that kind of money to give for a snake just yet , i guess that is why i don't have a albino rtb yet as well don't have the thousand dollars to spend!!! lol thanks for the input though i appreciate it u guys are good on giving feedback!!! love this site clay!!

He looks like a fine animal.
I have used Gray, from Allboas, in the past and have had nothing but a good experience with him. I am positive the animal is everything he has represented it to be, probably more!
                        Good Luck!

                          Re:should i buy this boa????

                          HI,
                          Thanks Again ,
As for the quality of the animals the Guyana were kind of luck, that was before I became a conisor of fine boa's .. hehe
The longer you keep them the more refined your taste will become.
The more you read post and see pictures of the babies of the expert breeders the more you want one of them..
Remember it takes decades to improve the quality and appearance of a boa. That's why the breeder may ask a bit more for that baby purchase, but if your going to keep something for a really long time why not get a boa you can feel proud to show pic's of and breed The Guyana's are approaching four this year .. Many snakes dono't show the quality until that second year. The first pic of the guyana baby is the same snake, its just the age seems to improve the overall quality.
I have an awsome hog island, that's approaching three and all I did was order it from Mr C.. and it was cheaper than some of the hog's Ive seen in VA and she's a GEM.. here's a baby picture of rose

Buy from the boa breeders and you will keep your boa for a long time..
and isn't that cheaper in the long run..
One of Mr C's Hogs that I own. ;D same boa named rose approaching three..

Hehe, yea i had the hide log out for pictures, but keeping a three year old attention can be a pain,
here's she's bored and started looking out the window..

hey I get it now, one of my bedrooms is for the Boa's all 6 of them so there's not much else in them except my computer my wifee's says it my cave she like going in and catchin the boa's sneaking around but dosen't like holding them,, but she like s them though.. except when the mess up the cage and that nice smell drifts out of the room, I keep the door shut now and have the A/c off for summer in that room it stays around 80-82 perfect. saves on extra heat in the cages... ;D I check them twice a day for heat and that poo smell.. hehe
guys gotta keep the wiffee happy.. :P
