Hey Welsh,

Very cute baby you got there. Don't stress the slow grow.. Boas are all different and grow at a different rate.. I could give you an example of two boas from the same litter.. one reached almost 4 foot by the year mark, the other one was almost 3 foot at the year mark.. But now 3 years later, I have seen them both again, and they are the same size..

How often do you feed him and what do you feed him?

Great luck with him, like the batman saddles alot..

Oh Wow, love the color on that boa... wow nice light and with what looks like chocolate saddles oh man.. very nice boa and great pics..... yeah each boa grows at a diffrent rate and youd be suprised if all of a sudden that boa desides to start growing faster at a certain point.. That one looks real good... Like steve said how often and what are you feeding?

I have been feeding her rat fuzzy's once every 7 days, but I just bought 25 rat fuzzy's from Cajun Mice, and will starty feeding her ever 5 days. Also the fuzzy's I have been buying from the pet store dont look the best, if you know what I mean, I know these from cajun mice are alot healthier. Yea she is a very good snake, can't really tell from the pics but she has ALOT of pink all throughout her body. And can she pack a bite, she has got me three times, because I touched the rat than picked her up, lol stupid me.

Hey Welsh,

that year old baby you got, you may want to move his up to the next size prey.. Since you already got the fuzzies, you may want to double to giving two fuxxies once every 7-10 days. I wouldn't suggest you feeding a year old boa every 5 days. It does more harm to the boas body then feeding weekly at most..

yes she is beautiful love the color and little speckling she has man o man beautiful!!! keep us posted on her better yet keep the pictures coming lol i love looking at these guys they are great and make time at work go by much quicker lol
