Very cute, gotta love it when little children, especially young girls, are not afraid of snakes. My son, who's four, still kind of freaks when I ask if he wants to hold one. He'll feed the snakes no problem, but not quite sure if he wants to hold them yet. Nice looking boa though. How big is it. Is it a male or female?

Its a female and about 6.5 feet long. I have had her about a year. She had scars along her back and nose when I got her. I actually traded some lizards to the pet store for her. It took 4 sheds to clean her up and get her pretty and happy again but even my wife is impressed and she only likes snakes behind glass. I miss my bearded dragons but the 7 lizards were too much like having another kid or dog. Hard to find someone to do all the care when on vacation. Snakes are much easier.

Hey Scalerustler,

Nice looking snake.. Like the blocked tail.. My daughter is alot younger then yours in the pic and loves to hold the snakes, even the 8 footer..LOL

8) That is a very cool looking boa, i love them dark saddles and your daughter is very cute!!! ;D My kids arent little no more.. bigcry.gif bigcry.gif But they still love working with all the critters here..... 8)
