Why he is called TWISTER

Hey all,

Just in case you you wondered why I call this male rescue Twister.. Here is a couple pics... He ties his tail into a knot all the time..

Hahaha Jayson..

Think its a square knot.. I have seen him do a complete regular knot before.. Just his odd quirk.. He has been gaining weight great, so I am hopeful he may ease the Boyscout knot lesson some...

We have guessed this guy has some Nero problems, but doesn't seem to have an ill effect... Wish I would have snap the shot last week. He did a complete knot..LOL

lol steve when my two boys dont want to be put up they tie knots to each other they tie their tails together so i have a harder time putting them away!!! once i give in and let them stay out they seperate and go play hehe.

Hey Xzylum,

Yeah never seen a snake do that before.. This snake does weird twists with the last half of his body. Had me worried the first month, but I feel its just a calcium def, or an injury that caused some kind of nerv problem.. But it doesn't seem to effect much with him..

Not sure.. He is putting weight on nice, thanks to two guiena pigs, some large rats. He is laying better. Only time will tell..

That's so cool. Was this picture after his shed? He turned out to be a great snake. When Tear is feeling better, will you let them visit? Or do they remember eachother? I am way too scared to ever put my snakes together. I wonder if each of them even know if there is 2 other snakes beside them selves in my house. LOL ;D

Hey Beth,

Yeah that was about 2 days after his shed.. it was his first since he came. Good sign he is growing. He is 2 pounds heavier then when he got here..

I think I will keep them apart for the most. They are doing so much better on their own, why mess with things..

Yeah, I know what you mean. besides, snakes are not very social animals right? Except for us humans that take care of them.............. I know they love us! :-*
