Re: This are my first boas
Pastel is not generally considered a morph, simply a normal with reduced amounts of black pigment and clean lookin patterns. Ladder tail is a pattern abberancy that presents the white squares you see on the tail. 100% Het for Anery means that boa should produce Anery babies which are a color morph that presents a grey black and white boa that usually browns out a bit as it matures. What you know for sure is that you have two very nice looking snakes and that one of them definitely has a ladder tail. As far as the other genetics that may be present, you wont know unless you breed them.👍 3Comment

Re: This are my first boas
The more colorful one is a Hypomelanistic -- or Hypo, for short . It's a dominant gene morph that will be passed onto anything that it breeds to .
The laddertail one has the normal wild type look - it could be het for Anerythirism (Anery for short) , but you won't know unless you breed it to another het for Anery , or an Anery -- it's a recessive gene morph.👍 2Comment
