looking at the tail print it might be BCC but not 100% sure if it is that is one of the sweetest suris i have seen most of the time there saddels are peaked slightly if not very peaked so its kind of hard to tell.... heres some questions ... where did you get it and how much did you pay, how red is the tail?

imo i though poss more guyana than suri

I moved your posts to a new thread so we dont hijack someone elses thread.

It could be a suri cross but I really don't see much Suriname there. Clearer and closer pics of head and tail would help in id.

the reason i thought BCC is because the heavy black speckeling around the tail and on some speckeling the sids like my BCC's ... but i also agree with chris poss bcc/bci cross ... heres some shots of my bccs to compare

Actually, my colombian has the same speckeling and coloring in the tail like your BCC but not that deep of shade of red

I think its probably a cross between a Colombian type Boa
and a Suri or Guyanan Bcc type Boa

it just looks like a really neat bci to me. alot of people seem to be breeding aberrant boas, i saw several recently on kingsnake. your baby just doesnt have the bcc head or patterns. i have several bci with big bold tails that rival some bcc i see for sale, and they all have lots of dark speckling towards their tails. here is one of mine with a nice red tail and some speckles. others i have, have more speckles though:

i paid 70 from craigslist. he advertised it as a "baby suriname" but only had pic's of the male and not the mother....

unfortunately i could not meet him at his residence and could not see the breeders.....but i figured 70.00 was a good price...

he jumped on a pinkie rat 2 days after i got him and the next day he went into a shed....his eyes cleared up yesterday....so ill wait until he sheds and ill post some clearer pic's
