It's a beauty... I really hope to own one some day but its hard to put up the money if it can't breed.

I have spoken with a close friend who is a genetic biologist at one of the universities in the Uk and he has confidence that in time these should be able to produce viable litters.
I am a realist and know that this could be the 2nd animal in my collection that could be there "For show " only (the other being my fantastice 2006 Super Jungle)
At the moment I am just happy she is fit and well, lets face it you hear plenty of horror stories about these guys and to have one at 2.5 years old is a fairly sweet feeling I can tell you.
What are your observations of growth and behavior ?
Does it appear to be on schedule growth wise and does it look
and behave as healthy animal would appear to ?
Thanks for posting they are excellent looking creatures !!
She is growing as a CA would , she eats at the same rate as the 2007 male moonglow I purchased at the time but he is far larger.
Below are pics of both the top ones are the most recent and the bottom ones taken about 18 months ago (when I 1st committed to them) the pics in between are about 3 months appart.
From the pics you can see the difference in growth.
Thanx for the pics and info. I see the differences in the heads that everyone has been mentioning but does the tail look more large python than boa to anyone else? It seems as though it gets very skinny right near the vent, rather than the gradual even taper I am used to seeing. Is it just the lack of pattern making me see this? I'm in love with that Moonglow, I want all the binos in my collection and that pic of him with the blood everywhere is just nuts!
