What is this girl?

She is from the original "Nova Boa" litter. She is a Nova. A non-Hypo variety. She looked like an Anery when she was born. A dark Anery. Then when she was about 2' long she started getting darker and now even darker. She is probably nearing 5' now and is darker than ever. Contrast her sister in a shot taken about a month ago: I have no idea what to make of her, but I do plan on trying to figure it out.

To me the body says anery but the red in the tail says otherwise I don't know what to call her

I think he is a really unique boa. Very dark with that red tail, interesting.

I really don't know. We'll see if something else like her pops up. A different angle: You can see the iridescence on her sides where she is getting really dark too: I do have some Anerys that are turning quite dark like their Momma has. Some Ghosts too. I still have her entire first litter actually... I have issues... I also have a Peruvian that is doing the same thing too. I just moved her to a taller cage and maybe I can get a picture of her soon. I have bred her twice and the last time she had babies she had but one little baby. A boy I think it was. The Peruvian I mean.

THIS is a question that is asked by a lot of people who just get into the boa world...don't feel bad mr. boaphile...from the looks of that boa it looks like a nice dark BCI to me...hope this helps hehehe
