i have a few questions about the ballroom rack, on the boaphile site it says,

my question is... do the corresponding numbers refer to how many shelves high you want your rack? or is it how many units of that particular rack? for example 3 = 3 racks that are 4 shelves high? giving you 3 separate racks with 12 shelves i'm assuming. i've been to animal plastics website and they sell according to how many shelves you want i'm wondering if that's the same situation here.
another thing how thick is the material used on the ballroom racks, i hear AP racks use 1/2" thick material.
