  • The Corals....

2 Lady corals that I got from Steve at Repti-Racks....About 6 months ago. Yep they are small and Steve told me they came from smallish parents. I like them samll. I want to continue their samller size in a breeding project some day. What in the world could I breed them to???? Guess I have years to figure that one out.

Also, they are nameless...I am such a slacker!!!! I keep saying I am going to research names of actual coral, and pick a name. Any suggestions?

They are nice -- I like Albinos alot . I am curious as to why they are being called Corals, as I don't see any coral traits on them yet .

You've got some Very pretty little ladies there. Unfortunately most corals don't have really pretty names. A few that come to mind are Brain, Elk Horn, Stinging, Mushroom, Black, Rose, Pink, ...

        Good Luck With Them,

Very nice little Albino Boas Dave. Looks like there might be some color
trying to bleed through on those two. With good luck they will
"Coral Up" in time with a little more age.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, (often am) but the coraling does not come on till much later in their life????

                  Coral name suggestions:

                  Brain Worm Platygyra
                  Heteroxenia Polyp
                  Actinodiscus Mushroom
                  Rhodactis Bullseye Mushroom
                  Stereonepthya Carnation
                  Catalaphyllia jardinei
                  Seriatopora stellata
Sinularia flexibis (or its common name Spaghetti Finger Leather Coral)

Yup, pretty much all terrible names...

You are right. Most will coral up in the first 2 years usually.

Very nice looking binos! I think that's cool that they are going to be smaller. Maybe you'll have a new line there....

                              Nice 'binos!

Looking at the title of the thread my mind instantly went to Coral Snakes, so I was momentarily thrown when I realized I was looking at boas. ...I think I'm, still recovering from the holidays! LOL!
