Hello all, Leviathan and I would like to say hello!! My husband and I have wanted a snake for a long time and after what seemed like endless (still seems endless sometimes haha) research on them we took the plunge and got us a small male RTB.
We were going to buy one from a breeder but a friend of mine told me her cousin/roommate had just bought an RTB and had quickly grown tired of it (as in less than 2 weeks) and that if someone didn't take it from him he was planning to release it into the woods behind their Apt Complex (Note we live in VIRGINIA!!!) and there was no way I was letting the poor creature die of exposure. So we took him in and gave him his forever home, sadly, because his original "owner" bought him on impulse just because it was "cool", he knows absolutely nothing about the snake, saying he got it from craigslist for 45$. This worries me, but we plan to take him to the vet this Mon to make sure he is healthy.
Here he is: (Sorry for the darkness, camera isn't that great when a bright light is on)
