There's a bit of a story here.
So, way back on January 30th, B zamora posted this thread showing off her remaining hypo jungle and hypo babies...
This pics prompted this response from me:
And B responded with:
I thought she was joking. She wasn't. She did talk to my wife via Facebook and found out that the condition for me being able to get another snake was that I had to have an empty cage.
Then, in a cruel twist, a cage opened up in the most horrible way ever.
Needless to say, that day sucked. But after a day or two of staring at that empty 421D, I knew I had to find a new occupant. So I talked to B and we worked it out. Then, just to whet my appitite, she posted this:
She messaged me to tell me that she meant #13. And the excitement grew and the countdown was ON!
She arrived today! Late, as per FedEx's usual incompetence. And she was stuck in my office all day. I had a co-worker who is cool with snakes snap a few quick pics with my phone:
Just peaking out of her bag...

Look at that belly!

Yeah, you could say I was pretty stoked to finally have her!

She had to go back into the bag after this. Most of my coworkers would flip their cookies if they knew she was even there! But once I got home, I could break out the DSLR and get some better pics!!
The bag shot!

Peek-a-boo!

An overall body shot. I love that butterfly saddle. And the orange! I wish that I could make these pics convey how vibrant that orange is!

Mr. Demille, I'm ready for my close up!

No luck on a tongue shot...

That tail though

She had had about enough of my shenanigans by then. She kinda coiled up and let me know she was done with the photo shoot. Who could blame her? She's had a busy couple of days travelling from Mississippi to California! So I am letting her settle in now. But I couldn't resist one last pic as she explored her new purple hide! Because that tail! Seriously!

Thanks again to Berkeley Knebel (I even learned how to pronounce that name!) at Mississippi Morphs! This is my first jungle and I am stoked!!!
4 out of my 7 snakes have come from members of the RTB.com family! That is something that I am really proud of!
Thanks for looking! Let me know what y'all think!
