I still haven't come up with a good enough name for my new Key West Boa. He's so awesome, he deserves an awesome name. I don't usually have a difficult time naming my animals but I see I need some help. Throw some names at me!
Thats a hard one.. I usually pick out a particular trait about the boa to make my decision.
I don't know what type of name you are looking for but I have been hearing the name "Cassius" for a while now. You can pronounce it "Cash-us" or "Cas-e-ous."

I usually do as Elizabeth94 does...time & characteristics usually suggest something to me. Sometimes I totally make up a name too, or look through a name-dictionary for ideas, especially
for the foreign-exotic ones. Opposites work too: when I named what was THEN an overly-defensive (teeth-first) boa, I called her "Snookems" to remind me (& everyone else) that she was
just a scared baby at heart...but when she got big, it also served as an "ice-breaker" when she got to meet people. Giggles help to dispel fear in those not comfortable with snakes.
**BTW, there was a boa named "Esme" in the old movie "Foul Play" with Chevy Chase & Goldie Hawn...
Thanks for all the suggestions and I think I have finally decided on a name: Jagermeister
You're such a lush!
