Re: My Little Hog Island
Very nice looking little one you have there! Thank you for sharing!
On a side note, I removed your other thread since it was a duplicate of this one. I just didn't want you wondering where it had gone"An increase in reptile education can lead to a decrease in reptile discrimination." - Bebo

Re: My Little Hog Island
Nice looking boa. I use eco earth for my Colombian & Brazilian rainbow boas and that clean up takes awhile to do. But it work & the only problem that I have with using the eco earth, is that on feeding days. They get it in there mouthsigpicJrock23

Re: My Little Hog Island
Thanks, Bebowebb, for cleaning up my mess. I'm using an older version of Firefox (that I can't seem to upgrade due to security issues here at work) and it has been giving me some real problems at times. Yeah she is a real doll, a little defensive of her hide but so much fun. Trying to get her to go back in her enclosure, especially last night, is a trick! It was feeding night so I was trying to get her to go in her warm hide and get ready for the attack! She, of course, decides to go to the cold side and relax. I stuck her supper in, via tongs, and barely go it inside when she nailed it, rolled in the substrate and finished the job. At the moment, she is in my daughter's bedroom and she keeps an eye on the boa, sometimes getting up at night worrying about the humidity, etc (I wonder where she gets that from?!). I'm planning on moving the snake out to my wife's plant room (grows African Violets by the hundreds - the room is a great temperature and humidity) but not sure if my daughter will let her go. I think that she needs her own snake.
