I've definitely been slacking on my posts around here lately. I still check the forum multiple times throughout the day but I haven't been taking any of my snakes out much. During the winter it's too cold to take them outside and the lighting in our house is terrible. Now that the weather is nicer I spend almost every weekend hiking and/or camping, lol. Living in a place like New England definitely makes you appreciate the summers more!

I agree, but on the Oregon end of the states -- I'm been into trail running for the past few years and I really love when spring time rolls around and the new leaves change the forest so much. I also like the winters lately because nobody else is crazy/dumb enough to get out and endure the crappy weather -- meaning that I get the trails all to myself .
Nice boa. You know, I reached my limit on FB a few months ago and posted that if my 'friends' didn't like photos of my snakes, they should either scroll past or unfriend me. I was so tired of people that supposedly liked me not liking my posts. Strangely enough, the ones in particular that had posted all the negative posts about my snakes were the first ones to chime in that I should post whatever I liked and to heck with the others. I'm now a very happy Facebooker and post pictures of my snakes and snake related posts all the time. You should try that. I figure that at my age, if they aren't willing to accept me and my pets, I really don't need them in my life.
