I had to clean cages today and thought I'd catch a bit of the end of day light to snap a few cell phone pics of Narcissa, my 2014 hypo jungle from Berkeley aka @zamora

I have this little plum tree outside and have put most of my snakes in it for pics while they were still small enough.

She is so pink!

Then it was feeding time. My juvenile corn snake missed. The shear agony is unbearable. </sarcasm> As per RTB protocol, I got a pic.


I think I may survive it!

Wow, are you still in the hospital? Hope you make a speedy recovery...let us know if you need a transfusion? We're all pulling for you!
Narcissa looks great in the plum tree, btw... No pix of the 'perpetrator'? (oh never mind...I guess you were in the ambulance by then? sorry...)

Nice pics. You really should have tagged this post with a gore warning, what if someone looked at this while they were eating? What if a child saw the bloody stump of what used to be your thumb? They'd be scarred for life. I just scheduled an appointment with a therapist to help me through the trauma.
