My reptile room

I finally did get my herp room remodeled, happy it's done but what a job! We ripped out the shag carpet, had the hardwoods refinished, repainted, got new cages, thermostats , fridge, freezer, AC, sink etc.



Inhabited by 8 snakes
1 ball python
1 western hognose
1 dumerils boa
1 bcc
1 Sumatran short tail
1 blood python
2 Borneo short tails

Plus the non snakes

I had a custom light switch cover made with my hoggie on it.

Yeah old house, there is a walk in closet on both sides of this room so we made that one into an iggy house, it's 8' x 42" x 6' (sloping down) and we cut out the door panels, put in plexi.

Our house pretty much belongs to the animals, the next room over is the ferret room, then our bedroom which is half taken over by dog beds and crates.

Amazing! Too many of us keep our reptiles in tight quarters. It's nice to see someone giving theirs a little extra space to thrive in. You just made my day.
