  • Various photos from the snake room.

This was back in early June. My male, Barranquilla, Colombian BC. Produced by Gus Rentfro and purchased from Legacy Reptiles.

He is closing in on 6 feet and may be there by now. He is just over 3 years old.

Looking a bit BCC here IMO.

He likes to climb in and out of the enclosure.

He gets to live in a naturalistic setup and his cage is on the bottom. 48" x 30" x 20". Pro-Line by Constrictors NW.

Taking a small rabbit from the perches.

A better shot of just his cage.

He looks good and looks to be very well taken care of.

      Thanks for sharing!

Great boa and cage. I like some naturalistic caging.

Thanks for all the kind words.

This is not a BC cage, but seeing as how a few have liked the naturalistic caging I provide. Here is my coastal carpet python cage. She is about 6 feet long, and lives in a Pro-Line cage that is 48" x 24" x 24".

The background has 11" ledges in some spots, is made of extremely tough rubber and looks real. There are 4 perches. 2 are thick dowels wrapped with vines and the other 2 are real tree branches.

She is usually perched about 70% of the time.

I certainly do love your setups and if I only had a few boas, I would be very inclined to do something similar! I just have way too many to justify the extra time spent cleaning, I have to break up cleaning to several days as it is. LOL. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures, your animals are way spoiled.
