  • I heard you guys like pictures.

Even if hes just a normal but i just finished spending two days on his blatent rip-off of a cage so i figured id share!

Yes he's male but I let an 8 year old name him so meet April LOL

and his pink showed up a little but not nearly as much as you can see with your eye. I'll have to fiddle with the camera a little because he is really more pink than he his brown its awesome

Nice pics!!! And "just" a normal is my favorite boa. They might have many different paint jobs these days, but my normal is still the prettiest boa I have.

No apology needed for "normal", that's nature's favorite too! Very nice, both cage & occupant!

That's a good looking boa and far from a "normal", normal in my opinion.

There are a lot of neat things going on in that pattern.

What cage did you buy may I ask?

i made it from pictures I've seen online! (i don't recommend it! lol it saved me maybe $50 and took like three days including plaster and paint) he's a little small for it right now but I've got it packed with hiding spots plus he'll grow into it before much longer. It's a 4'x2'x14" mdf board with 2, 1/4" plexiglass doors separated by a divider, a 2" fluorescent on a timer, and enough heat tape to heat my house. i took a good bit of pictures throughout so maybe i'll make a post in DIY later.

i set it up in the garage and heres a pic of it before i moved it in (excuse the garbage on top and the lazy sanding job on the plaster XD)

                        Not bad.

Some of the fun in the hobby is trial and error with caging and decorations.

I think it looks nice and will look even better once you get the construction materials off the top LOL!
