First litter of 2016

I had 12 new babies arrive at about 5 am today. Six Sterlings, six 100% hets. Healthy and robust. Mom is doing great.


Some of these hets are really outstanding examples of the influence(s) of the Sterling gene.

Sweet bunch of squigglers you have there Ken. You can send me one of those hets anytime. I love the Sterlings but I actually prefer the hets for some odd reason, I guess because they have so much color. Congratulations!

Wow, 50% visuals...exactly what you'd expect if my math is right. Congrats on a great litter. That gene really is something special.

I've got to ask though, if you wouldn't mind sharing. What kind of pairings are in the future for this gene? I know the hypo is in the works, but I'm a bit surprised another pattern hasn't been introduced like motley or jungle?

I'm expecting motley DH Sterling/Kahls and hypo DH Sterling/Kahls this season as well as DH Sterling/Anery, and there's s great chance at DH Sterling/Sharp.
