I have finally managed to get Cato out of his cage, finished with his shed, and in a playful mood so I can take some pics of him. He is almost 4 feet long and was a rescue. When I got him he had a scar on the lower 1/4 of his body that looked like a bite mark of some sort. The previous owner fed him live rats, unsupervised!! Bad owner!!! It also looked like the tip of his tail had been bitten off! Needless to say, he is doing great and only shows minor scarring of his past encounters.
When I got him he was somewhat of an angry fart! He would always assume the strike position, and then s27.gif WHAP!!! He would strike at me just from walking into his room! After two weeks and a long-awaited shed, and a good meal he came out of his cage and has turned into the puppy that doesn't want you to stop playing with him. Here are some pics I took last night. I think he's a little happier, what do you think?!
