Very nice! What is the panel on the back wall? What kind of wood is that?

the entire cage is made out of red oak. only draw back is it's a very hard wood. bent many a nail trying to drive them into it.

                Very nice cage!

Someone has a pretty penny wrapped up in the wood in that cage if oak is as expensive there as it is here!

Just wait until the glue dries to let any snakes near it at all also hehe

                      Re: pics of my enclosure

thanks so much for the replies guys.  yeah, the tape is just temporary, but after spending an entire weekend building it, i was ready to cut some corners. ;D  i'll eventually hot glue them once i have everything set up. and my significant other said she would never spend another night in that room if i didn't have at least 8 locks on the doors.
as for the price of the wood, it helps when that same significant other has her own construction company and a lowe's account.   ; cwm2.gif
and lori, i'll ship yours made out of a melamine tomorrow.  i expect shipping shouldn't be but what,   2, 3 thousand dollars!LOL

amazingly no. i live in houston so my ambient room temps stay between 75-80. i have a pro-products RHP that works absolutely perfectly and keeps my warm side 90-94 and my cool side anywhere from 78-86.
