        Doug,
Samuel looks BIG!!! I have her sister but she's not that big. Maybe I'm not feeding her the right size rat? I think I'll move up to small rats this month. What size do you feed her?

          HI,
He's always been a really good feeder, he's taking mediums like a pro every two weeks barely gets a bulge, I moved him to smalls very early he was feeding well on fuzzie rats from the start.
             Doug
I usally go for a little larger rat than the widest part of the boa.
The hog is slowing down on feeding too, she's not real hungry til almost three weeks now.
Maybe winter or it may be they want a break..
I usally wait until they show a real interest in feeding. I can read the posture and they show a real interest in me when in the feeding mode.
I sort of wait on the snake to show an interest , shed , or  POO..
I also track them on 3/5 cards  that how I noticed the hog was slowing down, she's not going to be a big snake and that's proably why she's feeding less now.
the Guyana are feeding around 3 to 4 weeks and thats ok for them.
the female was laying on her side today  ((maybe a stork visit)))  or them two jumbo's she ate 2 weeks ago..   ever seen a beached whale..here's pic of her at christmas and she's bigger now. hehe

            Doug,
2 small rats would go through his system faster than one medium but if it barely makes a bulge than its ok. I just ordered a pack of medium and small rats from the mousefactory. I'm planning to alternate feeding 2 smalls and 1 medium every two weeks.
