Wow Clay that guy is nice. What size rats are you feeding him? And one morre question for the snake that I got from you what are you feeding his 2 brothers that you still have? The reason I am asking is because I got some rat pups from cajun mice and they were just a bit bigger that I thought they were going to be. I went off of the pic that rodent-pro had posted of there rat pups and based on there size I ordered 25 from cajun mice. They were not the same size. He ate it just fine the only thing is there was a lump (not a big lunp but a lump). I am just wondering if me feeding him theses guys if I might be power feeding him. I was feeding every 7 days. Now that the food iteam is a little larger I am going to waite about 10 days between feedings. Any advice you or anyone else can offer would be great.

        Joshua,

They are eating large pinkie rats, that are just turning into fuzzies. You should be fine, just allow more time inbetween feedings. It's okay to look at the boa and be able to tell where the meal settled, but it is another if it really sticks out like something is wrong.

I would wait the 10 to 14 days, then check out the previous meal, and if it is still obvious then wait a few days longer. If the meal has really all but vanished, then go ahead and feed again.

By the way, The same parents of the Dubay baby above are at it again, and she is HUGE. Hopefully more dubabies in the early winter!!!! s12.gif

Boy am I glad to hear that he will be fine. I was worried that I might be power feeding. Don't want to do that. I hope that here is a female that jumps out and catches my eye. ;D.
